The Y333 Y type flanged strainer is designed for reliable filtration and protection of pumps, valves and downstream equipment in water distribution and industrial systems. It removes impurities such as dirt, rust and debris from the pipeline, helping to maintain system efficiency and reduce wear on components.
The body is constructed from GJL cast iron with internal and external epoxy coating for DN 40 to 65, and from GJS ductile iron with epoxy coating for DN 80 to 400, providing strong corrosion resistance and long service life. It is fitted with a stainless steel strainer element for effective filtration and durability in demanding applications.
The strainer operates at a pressure rating of up to 100°C and is supplied with PN10/16 flanged connections for straightforward installation into standard pipe systems. It includes a threaded plug connection, G 1/2" for DN 40 to 150 and G 3/4" for DN 200 to 400, allowing for maintenance and drainage access. Filtration ratings vary by size, ranging from 500 microns on smaller sizes up to 1250 microns on larger diameters, ensuring suitable protection across a wide range of flow conditions. The Y333 is available in standard UK stock configurations and offers a robust, low-maintenance solution for system protection in commercial and industrial applications.
