UVQF510

The UVQF510 Y-Flanged Strainer is designed to remove solid particles and debris from industrial pipelines, helping protect downstream valves, pumps and other process equipment from contamination. Its Y-shaped body directs the process medium through an internal filter screen, capturing unwanted particles while allowing the filtered fluid to continue through the pipeline. The removable cover and filter screen provide straightforward access for inspection, cleaning and routine maintenance. Manufactured using investment cast construction, the UVQF510 is available in a choice of body materials including CF8M, CF8, CF3M and WCB, allowing the strainer to be selected to suit different operating environments and media. The strainer features DIN 2501 PN16 flanged connections and a PN16 pressure rating, with face-to-face dimensions to DIN 3202 F1. Pressure testing is carried out in accordance with API 598. The standard construction shown in the datasheet incorporates a CF8M body, cover, filter screen and blow-off plug, with 304 stainless steel bolts and a PTFE gasket. Available from 1/2" to 4", the UVQF510 provides a robust filtration solution for a wide range of industrial fluid handling and process applications.
