Series A306 ATEX 3 Way Normally Closed Direct Acting Solenoid Valves Ultravalve supplies the Series A306 3 way normally closed direct-acting poppet solenoid valve for automated on/off directional flow control in hazardous area industrial environments. Featuring a brass valve body and ATEX certified explosion-proof coil, the A306 is designed for suitable non-explosive media where compact 3 way control is required. Full Hazardous Area Certification: Features an ATEX certified explosion-proof A6 coil for gas and dust hazardous areas: ATEX II 2GD Ex d IIC T6/T5/T4 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T80°C/T95°C/T130°C Db IP66. 3 Way Normally Closed Operation: The A306 is a 3 way normally closed direct-acting poppet valve, suitable for directional on/off control duties in compatible systems. Defined Pressure Handling: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 80 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on orifice size, ranging from 16 bar down to 10 bar. For steam applications, the maximum allowable pressure is PS 2.5 bar gauge. Robust Construction: Manufactured with a brass body, AISI 303 armature tube, AISI 430FR plunger and core, and AISI 302 springs. Seal options are shown for NBR, EPDM and FPM, with final selection dependent on valve code, media and temperature compatibility. Continuous Electrical Duty: Rated for ED100% continuous service, supporting continuous coil energisation in suitable industrial applications. Flexible Integration: Available with G1/8 and G1/4 ISO 228 fluid connections and a 1/2" NPT electrical connection, with M20x1.5 available on request. Mounting Requirement: Designed for installation with the coil mounted vertically above the valve body. Application Constraint: Suitable only for media that are not potentially explosive, despite the ATEX certified coil housing.
