Constructed with an AISI 316 stainless steel body and available with ATEX certified explosion-proof coil options, the A270 supports safe operation with suitable non-explosive media when correctly specified and installed. High Pressure Stainless Steel Isolation for Hazardous Environments Available from our UK warehouse, subject to configuration and current availability, the A270 supports maintenance teams requiring replacement valves for hazardous area pipeline systems. Designed for normally open operation, this valve allows flow in the de-energised state and closes when energised. Full Hazardous Area Certification: Features an ATEX certified explosion-proof coil for gas and dust hazardous areas: ATEX II 2GD Ex d IIC T6/T5/T4 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T80°C/T95°C/T130°C Db IP66. Normally Open Direct-Acting Design: The A270 is a 2 way normally open direct-acting poppet valve, operating from 0 bar minimum differential pressure. Corrosion Resistant Stainless Steel Construction: Manufactured with an AISI 316 body, AISI 316 seal assembly, AISI 316 springs, AISI 316 armature tube, and AISI 430FR core and plunger, with NBR, FPM or EPDM seal options. Defined Pressure Handling: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 100 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on orifice size, ranging from 23 bar down to 4.5 bar. Continuous Electrical Duty: Rated for ED100% continuous service, supporting continuous coil energisation in suitable industrial applications. Flexible Integration: Available with G1/4, G3/8 and G1/2 ISO 228 threaded connections, alongside a 1/2" NPT electrical connection, with M20x1.5 available on request. Coil Housing Options: Available with standard red coloured alloy housing coil A6 or stainless steel AISI 316 housing coil X6. Mounting Requirement: Designed for installation with the coil mounted vertically above the valve body. Application Constraint: Suitable only for media that are not potentially explosive, despite the ATEX certified coil housing.
