Constructed with an AISI 303 stainless steel body and available with ATEX certified explosion-proof coil options, the A210 supports safe operation with suitable non-explosive media when correctly specified and installed. The valve is suitable for applications requiring normally open operation, where flow is available in the de-energised state and closes when the coil is energised. Full Hazardous Area Certification: Features an ATEX certified explosion-proof coil for gas and dust hazardous areas: ATEX II 2GD Ex d IIC T6/T5/T4 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T80°C/T95°C/T130°C Db IP66, with IP66 protection class. Normally Open Direct-Acting Design: The A210 is a 2 way normally open direct-acting poppet valve, operating from 0 bar minimum pressure differential. Defined Pressure Handling: Supports a safe working pressure of 100 bar, defined as the line or system pressure the valve may be subjected to without damage. Maximum operating pressure differential depends on orifice size, ranging from 23 bar down to 3 bar. Stainless Steel Construction: Manufactured with an AISI 303 body and seal assembly, AISI 430FR core and plunger, AISI 302 springs, and AISI 316 armature tube, with NBR, FPM or EPDM seal options. Continuous Electrical Duty: Rated for ED100% continuous service, supporting continuous coil energisation in suitable industrial applications. Temperature Class Limits: Ambient temperature limits are mapped to the ATEX temperature class: -40°C to +35°C for T6, -40°C to +50°C for T5, and -40°C to +60°C for T4. Flexible Integration: Available with 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 NPT port connections for installation into compatible pipework. Coil Housing Options: Available with standard red-coloured alloy housing coil A6 or stainless steel AISI 316 housing coil X6. Electrical Connection: Supplied with a 1/2" NPT electrical connection, with M20x1.5 available on request. Application Constraint: Suitable only for media that are not potentially explosive, despite the ATEX certified coil housing.
