Featuring a brass valve body and ATEX certified explosion-proof coil, the A206 is designed for systems requiring normally open valve operation with suitable non-explosive media. Normally Open Operation: The A206 is a 2 way normally open solenoid valve, allowing flow in its de-energised state and closing when energised, subject to the selected configuration and installation. Defined Pressure Handling: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 100 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on the selected orifice, ranging from 23 bar down to 3 bar. Direct Acting Performance: The direct-acting poppet design operates from 0 bar minimum differential pressure, supporting applications where pressure assistance is not available. Robust Brass Construction: Manufactured with a brass body and brass seal assembly, with AISI 430FR core and plunger, AISI 302 springs, AISI 316 armature tube and seal options including NBR, FPM or EPDM. Continuous Electrical Duty: Rated for ED100% continuous service, supporting continuous coil energisation in demanding industrial applications. Flexible Installation: Available with G1/8, G1/4, G3/8 and G1/2 ISO 228 threaded connections, alongside a 1/2" NPT electrical connection, with M20x1.5 available on request. Application Constraint: Suitable only for media that are not potentially explosive, despite the ATEX-certified coil housing.
