Series A168 ATEX Assisted-Lift Diaphragm Solenoid Valves Ultravalve supplies the Series A168 2 way normally closed assisted-lift diaphragm solenoid valve for automated on/off fluid isolation in low-pressure and zero differential applications. Featuring a brass valve body and ATEX certified explosion-proof A6 coil, the A168 is designed for hazardous area installations where reliable actuation from 0 bar differential pressure is required. Zero Differential Fluid Control for Hazardous-Area Applications Ready for dispatch from our UK warehouse, subject to configuration and current availability, the A168 range supports maintenance teams and system designers working with low pressure industrial pipelines. The assisted-lift diaphragm design enables valve operation from 0 bar minimum differential pressure, while the valve supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 16 bar. Zero Differential Operation: The assisted-lift diaphragm mechanism enables reliable actuation from 0 bar differential pressure, making the valve suitable for low-pressure systems where pressure assistance cannot be relied upon. Full Hazardous Area Certification: Features an ATEX certified explosion-proof coil for gas and dust hazardous areas: ATEX II 2GD Ex d IIC T6/T5/T4 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T80°C/T95°C/T130°C Db IP66. Defined Pressure Handling: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 16 bar, with a listed maximum differential operating pressure of 5 bar across the available sizes. Dependable Brass Construction: Manufactured with a brass body and FPM seal, with a maximum listed fluid viscosity of 25 cSt. Continuous Electrical Service: Rated for ED100% continuous service, supporting continuous coil energisation in demanding industrial applications. Flexible Installation: Available with G3/8, G1/2, G3/4 and G1 ISO 228 threaded connections, including G3/4 /H and G1 /H versions for higher flow configurations. Electrical Connection: Supplied with a 1/2" NPT electrical connection, with M20x1.5 available on request. Mounting Requirement: Designed for installation with the coil mounted vertically above the valve body.
