Series 345 Railway 3 Way Direct Acting Solenoid Valve Ultravalve supplies the Series 345 family of 3 way direct-acting poppet type solenoid valves for automated directional control in compatible railway applications. Manufactured with an acetal copolymer body and designed for compact flange mounting, the Series 345 range is intended for air and neutral gas systems requiring dependable 3 way control from 0 bar differential pressure. Available in normally closed, normally open and universal configurations across the Series 345 family, these valves control and redirect flow depending on the specified valve code, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Compact Flange Mounted 3 Way Control for Railway Applications Ultravalve’s Midlands based warehouse offers a wide range of Series 345 valves from stock, subject to configuration and current availability. Designed to support railway maintenance, system integration and compatible pneumatic control requirements, these valves help provide compact replacement options for air and neutral gas applications. Direct-Acting 3 Way Performance: The 3 way direct-acting poppet type design enables electrically actuated flow control and redirection from a minimum differential pressure of 0 bar. Compact Flange Integration: Designed with flange fixing for direct integration into compatible equipment or manifold style assemblies, using M2.5 screws with a maximum torque of 0.5 Nm. Defined Pressure & Flow: Differential pressure ratings reach up to 10 bar on selected configurations, with higher flow variants listed up to 6 bar. Available with Kv values from 0.02 to 0.035 m³/h, depending on orifice size and valve configuration. Material & Seal Construction: Manufactured with an acetal copolymer body and acetal copolymer/stainless steel internal parts. Seal material is listed as NBR, with table seal options including NBR + FPM and NBR + Silicone depending on valve code. Manual Override & Response: Features an enclosed bi-stable manual override function for manual operation during commissioning or maintenance. Response time is listed as 10–15 ms. Railway Electrical Features: Uses 15 mm coils with Class F insulation, ED100% continuous duty and ±10% voltage tolerance. DC voltage options include 12V, 24V, 32V, 48V, 72V and 110V. Protection, Connection & Temperature Guidance: Electrical connection options include cables, AMP 2.8 x 0.5 and DIN 43650C. Protection is listed as IP65 for cable versions, and IP00 for fast-on versions unless a connector is fitted, where IP65 applies. Fluid temperature is listed up to +50°C and ambient temperature from -15°C to +50°C. With over 30 years’ experience and an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, Ultravalve provides dependable valve solutions for UK industry.
