Series 337 Thermoplastic 3 Way Normally Open Direct Acting Solenoid Valve Ultravalve supplies the Series 337 3 way normally open direct-acting poppet type solenoid valve for automated directional flow control in compatible industrial and food-related fluid systems. Manufactured with a certified thermoplastic polymer body, the Series 337 is designed for systems requiring dependable normally open operation and direct-acting control from 0 bar differential pressure. In its de-energised state, the valve operates in its normally open configuration and changes flow path when energised, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Dependable Normally Open 3 Way Control for Industrial Applications Ultravalve’s Midlands based warehouse offers a wide range of Series 337 valves from stock, subject to configuration and current availability. Designed to support maintenance projects, compatible food-related applications and general process requirements, these valves help provide fast replacement options for urgent pipework and compatible industrial assemblies. Normally Open Direct-Acting Performance: The 3 way normally open direct-acting poppet type design enables electrically actuated flow control and redirection from a minimum differential pressure of 0 bar. Certified Thermoplastic Construction: Manufactured with a thermoplastic polymer body certified to ACS, KTW, W270, WRAS, NSF and FDA standards, alongside a brass armature tube, stainless steel plunger and core and stainless steel springs. Defined Pressure & Flow: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 15 bar, with pressure suitability related to the type of connection and pipe used. Maximum differential operating pressure reaches up to 9 bar for AC configurations and 6 bar for DC configurations, with a 1.5 mm orifice and Kv value of 0.06 m³/h. Flexible Connection Options: Available with spiggot, G1/8 male thread with nut for flexible pipes, hosetail, compression for flexible and semiflexible pipes, and push-in fittings for semiflexible pipes with Øext 6 and Øext 4 options. Seal & Fluid Compatibility: Seal materials are listed as NBR, FPM and EPDM, with suitability dependent on valve code, media, temperature, valve body, connection type and application compatibility. Maximum fluid viscosity is listed as 25 cSt. Steam Application Constraint: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is strictly limited to PS 2.5 bar gauge. Continuous Electrical Duty & Protection: Uses compact Series 3 coils with continuous service ED100%. Electrical connection is DIN 46244 with PG9 connector, with protection rated IP65 when the connector is fitted and IP00 without connector. Options & Temperature Guidance: Available with stainless steel armature tube, chemically nickel-plated armature tube, Type N connection without nut, Class H insulation, cable attached versions, special coil voltages, special coil powers and certified coils. Ambient temperature is listed as -10°C to +80°C according to the coil, with temperature range dependent on seal material, valve body and connection type. With over 30 years’ experience and an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, Ultravalve provides dependable valve solutions for UK industry.
