Series 320 3 Way Direct Acting Solenoid Valve Ultravalve supplies the Series 320 3 way direct-acting poppet type solenoid valve for automated directional flow control in compatible automotive applications. Featuring a balanced seal and special construction to support high flow rates, the Series 320 provides dependable 3 way control from a minimum differential pressure of 0 bar. Available in universal, normally closed, normally open, mixing and diverting configurations, this valve isolates, mixes, diverts or redirects flow depending on its specified configuration, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Dependable High Flow 3 Way Control for Automotive Applications Ultravalve’s Midlands based warehouse offers a wide range of Series 320 valves from stock, subject to configuration and current availability. Designed to support maintenance projects, automotive integrations and compatible fluid handling requirements, these valves help provide fast replacement options for urgent pipework and general process applications. Direct-Acting 3 Way Performance: The 3 way direct-acting poppet type design enables electrically actuated flow isolation, mixing, diverting and redirection from a minimum differential pressure of 0 bar. High Flow Design: Features a balanced seal and special construction to support high flow capacity, with a 7.5 mm orifice and Kv value of 0.64 m³/h. Defined Pressure & Flow: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 50 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on configuration. Normally closed and normally open versions reach up to 9 bar, while universal versions reach up to 5 bar. Material Construction Options: Available with an anodized aluminium body for Series 320, 321 and 322 versions, or an AISI 303 stainless steel body for Series 323, 324 and 325 versions. All versions feature an AISI 303 armature tube, AISI 430FR plunger and core, AISI 302 springs and FPM seals. Seal & Fluid Compatibility: FPM seal material is listed as standard, with suitability dependent on valve code, media, temperature and application compatibility. Maximum fluid viscosity is listed as 25 cSt, with fluid temperature range listed as -10°C to +140°C. Connection & Integration: Features a G1/4 ISO 228 threaded fluid connection and supports a universal mounting position for straightforward system integration. Electrical Duty & Protection: Uses Series 5 coils with Class H insulation and DIN 43650A PG9 electrical connection. Protection is IP65 with connector fitted and IP00 without connector. Position Detection & Options: Available on request with position detector and yellow LED indicator, including 2 wire prewired, 3 wire prewired and 3 pin M8 connector options. Position detector protection is listed as IP67, with ambient temperature from -25°C to +70°C. Cable attached versions and special coil voltages and powers are also available.
