Series 311 AISI 303 3 Way Direct Acting Solenoid Valve Ultravalve supplies the Series 311 3 way direct-acting poppet type solenoid valve for automated directional flow control in demanding industrial systems. Constructed with an AISI 303 stainless steel body and armature tube, the Series 311 is designed for compatible industrial applications requiring dependable 3 way operation, stainless steel construction and direct-acting control from 0 bar differential pressure. Available in normally closed, normally open and universal configurations, this valve controls and redirects flow depending on its specified de-energised state, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Dependable AISI 303 3 Way Control for Industrial Applications Ultravalve’s Midlands based warehouse offers a wide range of Series 311 valves from stock, subject to configuration and current availability. Designed to support maintenance projects, industrial automation upgrades and general process requirements, these valves help provide fast replacement options for urgent pipework and compatible industrial applications. Direct-Acting 3 Way Performance: The 3 way direct-acting poppet type design enables electrically actuated flow isolation and redirection from a minimum differential pressure of 0 bar. Defined Pressure & Flow: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 50 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on orifice size, flow path and valve configuration. Selected normally closed versions reach up to 15 bar, normally open versions up to 10 bar and universal versions up to 6 bar. Available with selected orifice combinations from 1.2 mm to 2 mm, with Kv values from 0.04 to 0.09 m³/h. AISI 303 Stainless Steel Construction: Manufactured with an AISI 303 body and AISI 303 armature tube, alongside an AISI 430FR plunger and core and AISI 302 springs. Seal & Fluid Compatibility: Seal materials are listed as NBR, FPM and EPDM, with suitability dependent on valve code, media, temperature and application compatibility. Maximum fluid viscosity is listed as 25 cSt. Steam Application Constraint: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is strictly limited to PS 2.5 bar gauge. Flexible Integration: Features a G1/8 ISO 228 threaded fluid connection for straightforward installation into compatible systems, with universal mounting position as stated in the product data sheet. An exhaust port with hosetail connection is available as an option. Continuous Electrical Duty & Protection: Uses compact Series 3 coils with continuous service ED100%. Electrical connection is DIN 46244 with PG9 connector, with protection rated IP65 when the connector is fitted and IP00 without connector. Additional Options & Temperature Guidance: Available with silver shading ring, electroless nickel plating, Class H insulation, cable attached versions, special coil voltages, special coil powers and certified coils. A Series 7 explosion proof coil according to ATEX - EExmII is available subject to correct specification and application suitability. Versions for fluid temperature down to -40°C are available on request. Ambient temperature is listed as -10°C to +80°C according to the coil. With over 30 years’ experience and an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, Ultravalve provides dependable valve solutions for UK industry.
