Series 219 2/2 NO servo-assisted solenoid valve
Series 219 Brass 2 Way Normally Closed Servo-Assisted Diaphragm Solenoid Valve Ultravalve supplies the Series 219 2 way normally closed servo-assisted diaphragm solenoid valve for automated on/off flow isolation in demanding industrial and pneumatic systems. Constructed with a robust brass body and cover, the Series 219 is designed for dependable flow control in compatible general industrial fluid handling and pneumatic applications. In its standard de-energised state, the valve prevents flow and opens when energised, requiring a minimum differential pressure to operate effectively. Dependable Servo-Assisted Control for Industrial and Pneumatic Networks Ultravalve’s Midlands based warehouse offers a wide range of Series 219 valves from stock, subject to configuration and current availability. Designed to support robust maintenance projects, process control upgrades and general industrial automation requirements, these valves help provide fast replacement options for urgent pipework and pneumatic system demands. Servo-Assisted Diaphragm Operation: The 2 way normally closed servo-assisted diaphragm design requires a minimum differential pressure of 1 bar to operate effectively. Defined Pressure & Flow: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 40 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure reaching up to 25 bar across the listed AC and DC configurations. Both listed versions use a 12 mm orifice, with Kv values of 2 m³/h for G3/8 and 2.2 m³/h for G1/2. Connection & Installation Guidance: Features ISO 228 threaded fluid connections in G3/8 and G1/2, depending on the selected version. The preferred mounting position is with the vertical coil above, as stated in the product data sheet. Robust Brass Construction: Manufactured with a brass body, cover, armature tube and piston, alongside an AISI 430FR plunger and core and AISI 302 springs. Seal & Media Suitability: Includes a reinforced PTFE piston seal, with seal materials listed as NBR, FPM and EPDM. Suitability depends on valve code, media, pressure, temperature and application compatibility. Maximum fluid viscosity is limited to 25 cSt, and the listed fluid temperature range is -10°C to +140°C. Electrical Protection & Coil Details: Uses Series 2 coils with Class F insulation, voltage tolerance of AC +15% / -10% and DC ±10%, and DIN 43650A electrical connection with PG9 connector. Protection is IP65 with the connector fitted correctly and IP00 without connector. Ambient temperature is listed from -10°C to +80°C according to the coil. Steam Application Constraint: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is strictly limited to PS 2.5 bar gauge. Configuration Options: Available options include electroless nickel plating, stainless steel armature tube, Class H insulation, cable attached versions, special coil voltages, special coil powers and certified coils, subject to correct specification. Maximum allowable leakage is listed as <0.2 Nl/h. With over 30 years’ experience and an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, Ultravalve provides dependable valve solutions for UK industry.
