In its de-energised state, the valve allows flow and closes when energised, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Defined Pressure & Flow: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 50 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on orifice size and coil selection, reaching up to 23 bar on selected 1.5 mm configurations. Available with 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, 3 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm and 4.5 mm orifice sizes, with Kv values from 0.07 to 0.41 m³/h. Brass Construction: Manufactured with a brass body and brass armature tube as standard, alongside an AISI 430FR plunger and core and AISI 302 springs. A stainless steel armature tube is available as an option. Seal & Fluid Compatibility: Seal materials are listed as NBR, FPM and EPDM, with suitability dependent on valve code, media, temperature and application compatibility. Maximum fluid viscosity is listed as 25 cSt. Steam Application Constraint: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is strictly limited to PS 2.5 bar gauge. Electrical Protection & Coil Options: Uses Series 2 and Series 5 coil options with DIN 43650A PG9 electrical connection. Protection is IP65 with connector fitted and IP00 without connector. Additional Options & Temperature Guidance: Available with stainless steel armature tube, electroless nickel plating, Class H insulation for Series 2, cable attached versions, special coil voltages, special coil powers and certified coils. Manual override and versions for fluid temperature down to -40°C are available on request. Ambient temperature is listed as -10°C to +80°C according to the coil.
