Constructed with a robust brass body, the Series 206 is designed for compatible industrial, water, air, inert gas, compressor, fuel gas and water treatment applications requiring dependable normally open operation and direct-acting control from 0 bar differential pressure. In its de-energised state, the valve allows flow and closes when energised, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Defined Pressure & Flow: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 50 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure reaching up to 23 bar on selected 1.5 mm configurations. Orifice sizes range from 1.5 mm to 6.4 mm, with Kv values from 0.07 to 0.64 m³/h. Robust Brass Construction: Manufactured with a brass body and brass armature tube as standard, alongside an AISI 430FR plunger and core and AISI 302 springs. A stainless steel armature tube is available as an option. Seal & Fluid Compatibility: Seal materials are listed as NBR, FPM and EPDM, with suitability dependent on valve code, media, temperature and application compatibility. Maximum fluid viscosity is listed as 25 cSt. Steam Application Constraint: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is strictly limited to PS 2.5 bar gauge. Flexible Integration: Features G1/8 and G1/4 ISO 228 threaded fluid connections for straightforward installation into compatible systems, with universal mounting position as stated in the product data sheet. Electrical Protection & Coil Options: Uses Series 2 or Series 5 coil options with DIN 43650A PG9 connectors. Protection is IP65 with the connector fitted and IP00 without connector. Additional Options & Temperature Guidance: Available with electroless nickel plating, certified coils, manual override on request, and versions for fluid temperature down to -40°C on request. Ambient temperature is listed as -10°C to +80°C according to the coil.
