Constructed with a brass body, the Series 205 is designed for compatible industrial, water, air, inert gas, compressor, fuel gas and water treatment applications requiring dependable normally open operation and direct-acting control from 0 bar differential pressure. In its de-energised state, the valve allows flow and closes when energised, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Available with 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3.1 mm orifice sizes, with Kv values from 0.04 to 0.19 m³/h. Brass Construction: Manufactured with a brass body and brass armature tube as standard, alongside an AISI 430FR plunger and core and AISI 302 springs. Seal & Fluid Compatibility: Seal materials are listed as NBR, FPM and EPDM, with suitability dependent on valve code, media, temperature and application compatibility. Steam Application Constraint: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is strictly limited to PS 2.5 bar gauge. Integration, Duty & Protection: Features a G1/8 ISO 228 threaded connection, universal mounting position, ED100% continuous service, and IP65 protection with connector fitted. Protection is IP00 without connector, using a DIN 46244 electrical connection with PG9 connector option. Options & Temperature Guidance: Available with stainless steel armature tube, electroless nickel plating, Class H insulation, cable attached versions, special coil voltages, special coil powers and certified coils. A Series 7 explosion proof coil according to ATEX - EExmII is available subject to correct specification. Ambient temperature is listed as -10°C to +80°C according to the coil.
