Constructed with a brass body and cover, the Series 124 is designed for high pressure industrial fluid handling applications, compressor systems, carwash equipment and general pneumatic demands requiring dependable normally closed flow isolation. In its standard de-energised state, the valve prevents flow and opens when energised, subject to correct specification, media compatibility, pressure conditions and installation. Servo-Assisted Piston Operation: The 2 way normally closed servo-assisted piston design requires a minimum differential pressure of 3 bar to operate effectively. High Pressure Performance: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 150 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure reaching up to 100 bar across the listed AC and DC configurations. Connection & Flow Details: Features a G1/2 ISO 228 threaded fluid connection, with a 12 mm orifice and Kv value listed as 6.0 m³/h. Brass & PBT Construction: Manufactured with a brass body and cover, an AISI 303 armature tube, an AISI 430FR plunger and core, AISI 302 springs, and a PBT piston. PTFE/FPM Seal Arrangement: Uses a main PTFE seal with other FPM seals, with suitability dependent on valve code, media, pressure, temperature and application compatibility. Maximum fluid viscosity is limited to 12 cSt. Temperature & Installation Guidance: The listed fluid temperature range is -10°C to +95°C, with ambient temperature from -10°C to +80°C according to the coil. The preferred mounting position is with the vertical coil above, as stated in the product data sheet. Electrical Protection & Coil Details: Uses Series 2 coils with Class F insulation as standard, voltage tolerance of AC +15% / -10% and DC ±10%, and DIN 43650A electrical connection with PG9 connector. Protection is IP65 with the connector fitted correctly and IP00 without connector. Configuration Options: Available options include electroless nickel plating, Class H insulation, cable attached versions, special coil voltages, special coil powers and certified coils, subject to correct specification. Maximum allowable leakage is listed as <0.2 Nl/h.
