Constructed with a low lead brass body, the Series 107 is designed for compatible industrial, water, air, compressor, carwash, filling machine, irrigation, packaging, thermoregulation, plastic moulding and water treatment applications requiring reliable normally closed operation with a minimum differential pressure. In its de-energised state, the valve prevents flow and opens when energised, subject to correct specification, media compatibility and installation. Normally Closed Servo-Assisted Performance: The 2 way normally closed servo-assisted diaphragm design requires a minimum differential pressure of 0.15 bar to operate effectively, with selected reinforced diaphragm configurations requiring 0.5 bar. Defined Pressure & Flow: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 25 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on valve size, orifice and coil configuration. Standard versions reach up to 15 bar, while selected reinforced diaphragm versions reach up to 25 bar. Orifice sizes range from 10 mm to 30 mm, with Kv values from 1.5 to 15 m³/h. Connection Options: Features ISO 228 threaded fluid connections from G1/4 to G1 1/4, depending on the selected version. Low Lead Brass Construction: Manufactured with a low-lead brass body and cover, an AISI 303 armature tube, an AISI 430FR plunger and core, and AISI 302 springs. Seal Options & WRAS Approval: Seal materials include NBR, FPM and EPDM, with WRAS certified EPDM available for compatible potable water applications where correctly specified. Maximum fluid viscosity is limited to 25 cSt. Installation Guidance: The preferred mounting position is with the vertical coil above, as stated in the product data sheet. Electrical Duty & Protection: uses coils rated for continuous service ED100%, providing IP65 protection when the connector is fitted correctly and IP00 protection without connector. Ambient temperature suitability is listed from -10°C to +80°C according to the coil selected. Steam Application Constraint: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is strictly limited to PS 2.5 bar gauge. Options & Certifications: Available options include manual override, electroless nickel plating, Class H insulation, cable attached versions, special coil voltages, special coil powers, certified coils, certified versions, a slow-closing diaphragm version, vacuum versions for air/gas applications and a Series 7 explosion-proof coil according to ATEX - EExmII, subject to correct specification.
