Series 106 2/2 NC direct acting solenoid valve
Series 106 G3/8 & G1/2 2-Way Normally Closed Direct Acting Solenoid Valve Ultravalve supplies the Series 106 2 way normally closed direct-acting poppet solenoid valve for automated on/off flow isolation in high pressure industrial systems. Featuring a robust brass body and expanded connection sizes, it is designed for compatible general fluid-handling applications including water, air, inert gases, fuel gases, industrial automation, compressors and water treatment systems, subject to media, seal, pressure and certification compatibility. These valves provide dependable electrically actuated flow isolation for applications requiring direct-acting control from 0 bar differential pressure. Dependable Direct-Acting Flow Isolation for Larger Pipework Ultravalve’s Midlands based warehouse offers a wide range of Series 106 valves from stock, subject to configuration and current availability. Designed to support maintenance projects and major system upgrades, these larger connection valves help provide fast replacement options for urgent pipework and process requirements. Direct-Acting Performance: The direct-acting poppet design enables reliable on/off flow isolation from 0 bar minimum differential pressure. Defined Pressure Handling: Supports a maximum allowable pressure of PS 100 bar, with maximum differential operating pressure dependent on orifice size and coil selection, reaching up to 100 bar on selected small orifice, high power configurations. Robust Brass Construction: Manufactured with a brass body, AISI 303 armature tube, AISI 430FR plunger and core, and AISI 302 springs, with seal options shown for NBR, FPM, EPDM and PTFE. Fluid Compatibility Guidance: Suitable for compatible industrial media with maximum fluid viscosity up to 25 cSt, subject to material, pressure, seal and certification compatibility. Flexible Integration: Features larger G3/8 and G1/2 ISO 228 threaded fluid connections for straightforward installation into compatible pipework and equipment layouts. Electrical Connection & Protection: Uses a DIN 43650A PG9 connector, with IP65 protection when the connector is fitted and IP00 without connector. Mounting Flexibility: Suitable for universal mounting positions, as stated in the product data sheet. Steam Application Constraints: The maximum allowable pressure for steam applications is PS 9 bar gauge with PTFE seals and PS 2.5 bar gauge with EPDM seals. Optional ATEX Coil: Available with an optional Series 7 explosion-proof coil according to ATEX EExmII for suitable hazardous-area configurations, subject to specification. With over 30 years’ experience and an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, Ultravalve provides dependable valve solutions for UK industry.
