Series 861

The Goetze Series 861 is a type-tested, angle-pattern safety valve designed for compact industrial pressure protection duties where threaded connections are preferred. The valve is suitable for steam, air, gases and vapours, and liquids (neutral and non-neutral), subject to selection of the appropriate valve version and sealing material. It is set and sealed at the factory. Two spring-housing versions are available: standard non-gastight (s) for neutral media without counter pressure (not for combined gaseous/liquid “GF” media), and gastight (t) for neutral and non-neutral media (not counter pressure compensated). Lifting device options include twist-type (K) or lever (L) for non-gastight versions, and without lifting device (O) typically used on gastight versions. Typical applications include protection of pressure tanks and systems, steam boilers and steam plants, mechanical engineering installations, pump protection, process equipment construction and medical technology (including sterilisers and autoclaves), shipbuilding and marine equipment, pressure booster plants (water/air-side) and steam/industrial boiler plants.
