Series 852

The Goetze Series 852 is a TÜV/CE type-tested, angle-pattern safety valve manufactured with a gunmetal body and flanged connections to DIN EN 1092. Designed for reliable overpressure protection, the Series 852 is suitable for steam, air, gases and vapours, as well as liquids (neutral and non-neutral), subject to selection of the appropriate valve version and sealing material. The valves are set and sealed at the factory. Valve versions include standard (s), bellows (b), gastight (t) and gastight with bellows (tb). Bellows versions support applications with counter pressure (up to 4 bar) and provide isolation of the spring housing and moving parts from the medium. Typical applications include protection of pressure tanks and systems (vapours, gases and liquids), steam boilers and steam plants, bulk transport vehicles for liquid/granular/dusty goods (version-dependent), pressure booster plants (water/air-side), fire-fighting equipment, industrial and commercial boiler plants, shipbuilding and marine equipment, and pump protection.
