The Braukmann D04FM pressure reducing valve is a compact and efficient solution designed to regulate pressure in drinking water systems. Engineered in accordance with EN 806-2 and compliant with BS EN 1567, it protects installations from excessive supply pressure while ensuring stable and consistent downstream performance. Ideal for domestic, commercial and light industrial applications, the D04FM maintains a constant outlet pressure even when inlet pressure fluctuates. This helps prevent pressurisation damage, reduce water consumption and minimise flow noise within the system. The valve features inlet pressure balancing, ensuring reliable operation regardless of variations in supply pressure. Its high-quality synthetic valve insert is fully replaceable, allowing for easy maintenance and extended service life. The outlet pressure can be conveniently adjusted using an external adjustment knob, providing flexibility for different system requirements. Designed with hygiene in mind, the adjustment spring is isolated from the drinking water. The valve is approved to DVGW, WRAS (up to 23°C), SINTEF and VA standards, and all materials are UBA conform and ACS certified, making it suitable for potable water applications.
