Tillis Wafer

The Tilis wafer butterfly valve is designed for cost-effective, reliable flow control in water and industrial applications where compact installation is required. Produced by Socla, the wafer body design fits neatly between flanges, making it ideal for space-saving installations and straightforward pipeline integration. The valve uses a strong grooved connection between the shaft and disc to provide efficient torque transfer and dependable performance. Full protection of the shaft and valve body from the fluid helps to minimise corrosion and wear, while self-lubricating bearings ensure smooth and reliable operation throughout the valve’s service life. An anti-ejection circlip secures the shaft and simplifies maintenance, while a secondary watertight sealing arrangement adds an extra level of safety. The one-piece spline-driven shaft and floating disc design ensure reliable shut-off performance and stable torque transmission over the long term. For identification and quality assurance, each valve includes a riveted metal traceability tag.
