Sylax Gas II

The Sylax Gas butterfly valve range (DN 32 to 150 mm) is designed for reliable gas applications, offering high performance, durability and ease of maintenance. It features multiple connection options including centering lugs, tapped lugs and a ring-shaped body, and can be installed in both vertical and horizontal operating positions. The valve ensures high power transmission through a robust grooved connection between the shaft and disc, while self-lubricating bearings provide smooth and reliable movement over time. The shaft and body are fully protected from the fluid, enhancing long-term durability and performance. Maintenance is made straightforward by removing the circlips, and the disc and liner are fully interchangeable for added flexibility. Safety is a key feature, with a reinforced design that includes a secondary watertight seal. An anti-ejection circlip (on FM versions only) secures the shaft and supports safe and easy maintenance. The one-piece spline-driven shaft connected to a floating disc ensures consistent tightness and efficient torque transmission over the long term, with improved torque performance. The valve body is manufactured from ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15 and finished with an 80µm epoxy coating in RAL 5017 blue, with additional coating options available on request. Each valve is fully traceable via a riveted metal identification tag.
