The CMO 22A Butterfly Valve is a lug type concentric butterfly valve designed for reliable isolation and flow control in water supply and industrial pipeline systems. Engineered for dependable bidirectional sealing and minimal pressure loss, the 22A Series is ideal for water treatment, pumping stations, irrigation systems, drinking water distribution and wastewater applications. Manufactured with a durable ductile iron body and available with ductile iron or stainless steel disc options, the valve offers excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for long-term operation in demanding environments. Its lugged body design allows secure installation between flanges and supports end-of-line service capability, providing greater installation flexibility than wafer-style alternatives. The 22A Series provides 100% watertight sealing and bidirectional flow capability, ensuring reliable shut-off performance across a wide range of industrial and water applications. The streamlined disc profile minimises head loss and improves hydraulic efficiency throughout the pipeline system. Designed for PN10 and PN16 pressure systems and compatible with ANSI 150 flange standards, the valve is available in sizes from DN50 up to DN1200. The series can be supplied with lever, gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuation depending on application requirements. Operating temperatures vary depending on seat material selection, with standard EPDM seated versions typically suitable for temperatures between -15°C and +90°C, while specialist seat configurations can support temperatures up to approximately +130°C for higher temperature industrial applications.
