The CMO 21A Butterfly Valve is a wafer-type concentric butterfly valve designed for reliable isolation and flow control in water supply and industrial pipeline systems. Engineered for low pressure loss and dependable sealing performance, the 21A series is ideal for water treatment, pumping stations, irrigation systems, drinking water distribution and wastewater applications. Manufactured with a durable ductile iron GJS400 body and available with ductile iron or stainless steel disc options, the valve offers excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for long-term operation in demanding environments. Its compact wafer design allows easy installation between flanges without additional gaskets, reducing installation time and simplifying maintenance. The 21A Series features bidirectional flow capability and 100% watertight sealing, ensuring reliable isolation across a wide range of applications. The streamlined disc profile and full flow path help minimise head loss and improve hydraulic efficiency throughout the system. Designed to suit PN10, PN16 and ANSI 150 flange standards, the valve is available in sizes from DN40 up to DN600. It can be supplied with lever, gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuation options depending on application requirements. Operating temperatures vary depending on seat material selection, with standard EPDM seated versions typically suitable for temperatures from -10°C to +90°C, while specialist seat configurations can support temperatures up to approximately +130°C. Manufactured and hydrostatically tested in accordance with EN 12266-1 Class A, the valve also complies with EN 558 Series 20 face-to-face dimensions and ISO 5211 mounting standards where applicable. Held in stock at Ultravalve and competitively priced, the CMO 21A Butterfly Valve provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for water and industrial flow control systems.
