The LYCENE butterfly valve range is designed for use in demanding applications including chemical media, food processing industries and pure water systems. It offers a very high level of reliability due to excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for highly aggressive media thanks to its PFA and PTFE liner system, providing a high level of operational safety and long-term performance. In addition to standard models, customised versions are available for particularly difficult process conditions. The valves are manufactured in accordance with EN593 and feature ISO top connections compliant with EN ISO 5211. They include anti-friction bearings and a one-piece blow-out proof shaft with a 2.5 mm PFA-coated disc. The liner back-up is fully enclosed within the body, while the PFA moulding around the stem ensures zero leakage. Additional sealing at the shaft location is achieved through a bearing and spring system, supported by a 3 mm PTFE liner for enhanced tightness and durability. Face-to-face dimensions comply with ISO 5720 Class 20, EN 558 Class 20 and API 609 Table 2 standards. The valve design incorporates upper sealing and reinforced internal protection, ensuring consistent tightness and reliable operation even under challenging conditions.
