The GEMÜ 498 motorised butterfly valve provides automated flow isolation for corrosive chemical applications. The GEMÜ 498 accommodates nominal sizes from DN 40 to DN 1200, regulates operating pressures up to 10 bar, and withstands media temperatures ranging from -20°C to 200°C. Automated Actuation: The GEMÜ 498 integrates a motorised actuator featuring IP 65 protection and 24 V DC / 24 V AC supply options, delivering automated 90 degree travel to eliminate manual operational delays and prevent process downtime. Guaranteed Flow Isolation: The GEMÜ 498 achieves EN 12266-1/P12 leak rate A bubble tight sealing, preventing costly fluid loss and eliminating unplanned maintenance downtime caused by cross-contamination within critical processing lines. Safety & Compliance: Explosive Environment Security: The GEMÜ 498 secures ATEX compliance for group II, zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22, preventing ignition risks to guarantee facility safety and continuous operation within volatile industrial zones.
