RPZ Testing – Legislative Update
From 1 January 2025, Water Regs UK introduced updated guidance for RPZ valve testing under RPZ AIM Issue 3. The revised legislation sets new minimum requirements for RPZ test equipment, clarifies acceptable testing methods and reinforces the need for tester competency. The use of single tube manometers is no longer permitted, with all RPZ test equipment required to meet the new specification by 1 July 2026.
Ultravalve’s qualified RPZ testing engineers operate fully in line with the latest Water Regs UK guidance and now use new digital RPZ test kits that comply with the updated requirements, ensuring accurate, reliable and fully compliant testing for all RPZ installations.
