Big RPZ Valve

An R.P.Z. valve is designed for use in commercial and industrial applications to avoid back syphonage and pollution of the potable water distribution system. These valves are subject to an annual test by the local water authority which can only be carried out by an accredited tester.

As an RPZ specialist Ultravalve offers the complete RPZ assembly, which includes the 'Y' strainer or a self cleaning filter, isolating valves and a pressure reducing valve to establish the pressure where necessary. Also included in the range is an RPZ manufactured in stainless steel which is prefered in pharmaceutical, food and beverage applications.

Ultravalve's total product range includes numerous types of RPZ valves and accessories from many worldwide manufacturers. We look carefully at each customers enquiry, including the application and any preference for a particular valve. However whichever make of RPZ valve is being supplied we always offer the complete package of supply, commission and test with certificate and annual testing, we also provide an installation service if required.

All ultravalve's service engineers are certified by WTI to carry out testing and service work on these devices. All our engineers also hold National Water Hygiene cards.

In addition, Ultravalve has a training facility dedicated to RPZ products, where it can demonstrate to consultants and customers the workings and applications for these devices. Many customers and water regulation inspectors from the Midlands area, which is served by Severn Trent Water, South Staffs, Anglian Water and Welsh Water have benefited from these sessions and recognize Ultravalve's expertise when a backflow prevention device is required.
